Insight, Training For Traders On A Global Scale
What if you had access to an in-the-trenches equities and commodities trader who spent time on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange?
Someone who knows from first-hand experience when the big players and computers are making moves?
Access to that kind of insight and training is a premium in the retail trading world.
Joe Rokop, Managing Director of Commodities and Equities, is this week’s “Friday Feature” team member.
At Simpler Trading, there is nothing more valuable than our people — our biggest asset. The information, resources, and experience our traders deliver is used by beginner and seasoned traders.
Joe headlines this highlight of the newsletter where we present one of our team members making an impact.
He began his trading career right after college when he clerked in the crude oil and natural gas pits on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange. This guided him to develop a deep understanding of market flow and volume, broker and institutional trading styles, and various arbitrage strategies.
Over the past 13 years, Joe has mastered algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies while also taking a fundamental view when executing trades. The global market is ever-changing — often directly affected by economic news and events — and Joe is able to navigate this environment while sharing his insights with others.
Joe regularly presents his strategies and trades in the online futures trading room. He strives to help others improve their trading skills so they can realize better results both personally and within the trading lifestyle. He passionately shares his experiences and knowledge to encourage other traders toward achieving their goals.
When you have the chance, tap into Joe’s skills during one of his sessions. And, be sure to ask how he prospers with the psychology of trading through the physical and mental benefits of well-defined exercise.
He’ll be glad to share the benefits of yoga and how it keeps him in the trenches making plays in a global market.
