As the NQ and ES reach ATH levels (again) the question is how and when to position long and also short. What are the names to watch and how can a trader manage both bullish and bearish outcomes?
Looking at the market from the viewpoint of Relative Out Performers (ROP) that are bearish and bullish makes for flexibility and the ability to be both long and short a market but tactical about which names. It’s an important part of the multi-chart scans I do with members each day, and here’s the current breakdown of those scans.

This is how I set this trade up last night, making a large index bet.
It’s volume and participation. It’s the lack of the same strength in transports, crude oil, and copper. It says a lot that volume remains low. That said, there are a number of places that the long position is one we have taken, I discuss those in this video.
